Ash everywhere in San Diego & my car is nearly stalling. Should I clean/change the air filter? 2005 Benz C230?
I live in San Diego and recently there have been several fires that have left soot and ash everywhere. Now my car is idling very low (around 300-600 RPM) and it sounds like it is going to stall, and it did stall one time. I don't know much about car maintenance,
either blow the filter out with an airhose or install a new one and see if that is your problem.
