Where can I take a SMART car to fix the 3cyl diesel engine to meet EPA standards so I can import to USA?
The car is in Germany. Is there a place in Germany that does this? Smart cars are made by Deimler-Chrystler
This would cost $$$ and is a custom repair. Any knowledgeable diesel repair facility can do this. All emission control devices will be changed/added to north American standards. In addition, the diesel fuel is much dirtier here and additives will be required
