How much is a Ford 289 with a C4 transmission worth?

I am putting a Ford 289 with a C4 transmission up for sale. The Engine is in good condition (but not rebuilt) and it has about 65,000 miles on it. The transmission is very clean and works great. How much are they worth?

start at $850 and list it on http://craigslist.org ..if it doesn't sell, lowerer it $50 at a time..till it does, or try to sell them seperate for $500 each..lots of Mustang, Falcon and Comet restorers would like to have it..even a Sunbeam Tiger..
