rod knocking after oil change filter came loose ?
went to monroe for oil change 10 days later all oil was gone filter was lose now have rods knocking they said they can fix by replacing the bearings .it is a four cylinder is this thier fault what can i do the car was fine before oil change
Have your attorney send them a letter. They will be responsible for the motor replacement. A motor with out oil will cause rod bearing damage, crankshaft bearing damage, camshaft bearing/bushing damage, and piston ring damage to the cylinder walls.
