2000 maxima wll not move after prssing the gas pedal..?

I have couple of questions about my 2000 maxima. The car has 72000 miles. It started few weeks ago, that everytime i would push the gas pedal there would be like a whining sound coming from the engine...like crackling, the car won't shake or vibrate just
I doubt that it is the transmission, sounds more like a fuel filter or something else. Take it to a Nissan dealer and have them test drive it and give you an opinion. I don't think that it will be under warranty but you can always ask when you are t
