How do you stop carb from gumming up on small engine like chainsaw?

I bought my husband a chain saw over the summer, but the carb keeps getting gummed up because of alcohol in the gas. What is the best solution for this? I have tried stabilizer, and it does not work.
Small engine has bad fuel. 10% alcohol has ruined
I haven't been having a problem with the carb gumming up in my line trimmer, it sits for months at a time. I use Stihl ultra oil mix and premium gasoline. The premium seems to work better.
