Troubleshoot starter in 99 Pontiac Grand Prix?

Car was starting up great, no problems. Went to start it and nothing….all lights and radio still work, just a click when turning the key. Please advise

with a volt/ohm meter check the small terminal on the starter solenoid when you try and start it, if you have around 12 volts the starter itself is bad
